On July 25th my Dad and I drove down to DC to get my biometrics taken in order to complete the visa process. Since my appointment was at 1:00pm and DC is a good 6 hour drive from Ithaca, we spent the night in Philly with the lovely Lauhoff family. In the morning before heading down the the Embassy we celebrated my Swedish adventure with Swedish pancakes for breakfast. Delish.
After a couple hours in the car we finally arrived at the beautiful and modern Swedish Embassy in Georgetown DC.
