Spending our Saturday celebrating the early tastes of fall.
Hot Apple Cider

Drying red clover for tea.

While happily sipping our hot apple cider we sat in our yard doing homework...or trying to. The beautiful early fall weather was quite distracting.

Reading about ethnographic research.

A rainbow in the sky :)
As if the beautiful day was not distracting enough, Laurens Dad arrived with some an abundance of food (and I am not complaining).

Dry goods including flour, nuts galore, dried fruit and an assortment of chips and crackers.
Vanilla Extract
Things in cans and jar as well as PUMPKIN COFFEE!
We also received jars of homemade tomato sauce and apple sauce made by Lauren's mom as well as an endless supply of Cedars hummus, tabbouleh, wraps and pita chips.
Thank you so much Bruns family for all the goodies!
