Karlskrona

Karlskrona is a beautiful ocean front town in the south of Sweden.
Linnea's Aunt lives in a cute little apartment that overlooks the water.

The day we arrived the weather was amazing. It was probably 70 degrees and there was not a cloud in the sky. Linnea's aunt and cousin took us for a walk around one of the islands.

Since we were short on time, we decided that we would come back to this dock the next day and jump in the ocean.

One of the Island in Karlskrona is covered in these cute little red traditional Swedish houses.

After our brief walking tour we got dressed and went to Linnea's Aunts Parents house in the countryside. We had a huge birthday celebration full of food, cakes, and presents.

Sunday morning we woke up to the wonderful breakfast spread of eggs, cheese, tomatoes and peppers, toast, buns, cereal, yogurt, fresh squeezed juices, and coffee.

Saturdays beautiful weather was displaced by a foggy, cold front.

The cool foggy weather did not stop Linnea and I from walking around the town.

Despite the roller coaster of adventures and emotions involved in getting here, I had a lovely time in Karlskrona. Linnea's family is so sweet and welcoming and it was great to see another part of Sweden.
