Sigtuna
The last stop on our tour was Sigtuna, the oldest city in Sweden. It was founded in 980! It is a quaint town right on the lake Mälaren.

In Sigtuna, Linnea and I broke away from our tour and decided to explore the town on our own. I think it can be much more enjoyable exploring on your own.
The main street. We happen to arrive right at the end of a running race. |
We stumbled into to cutest little shop full of beautiful ceramics, Teas, Coffee, Treats and little Swedish nicknacks. Linnea and I each bought a bag to loose leaf and hand packaged tea for only 20kr.
Inside the shop! |
I wanted to buy all of the pottery! |
A Cute Cafe. |
The Harbor |
After exploring it was time to sit down and enjoy some ice cream by the water. Always a lovely end to a wonderful day.
My Kaktus-Citron Sorbet. |
Linnea's Pear Ice Cream |
Water! It was freezing, it must have been in the 50's. |
I LOVE the Sky here. |
Clouds. |
So Beautiful. |
