Skokloster Castle
This castle is from the 17th century and belong to Carl Gustaf Wrangle. While the castle itself is beautiful, the interior design was not. The castle was more for show than anything else so every room is just a mish-mosh of things Wrangle wanted to show off. I felt the rooms were overwhelming with too many colors and patterns and things to look at. That being said, I still really enjoyed the castle and was amazed by the individual beauties and the rich history. We were not allowed to take any pictures inside so I cannot show you what I am referring to about the interior aesthetic.

The small building in the foreground was Gustaf Wrangles fathers castle. Gustaf Wrangle then out did his father and built the enormous castle in the background. |

And then it was lunch time! Just look at the spread of handmade desserts. Everything looked so amazing it was difficult to choose.

I decided on the Swedish Apple Cake. |

And for my main course I had the Lax Plate which came with the most delicious piece of salmon, potatoes, salad and a delicious slice of some sort of dense fruit and nut bread. |
